I was responsible for directly assisting the founder in creating an environment specifically designed to ensure that creators could showcase their expertise with authenticity.
In the initial phases, this involved strategically growing the company’s partnerships to expand the video library being offered to subscribers while working with a team of freelance creatives and contracted SDRs/BDRs.
Additionally, I oversaw digital asset production and ensured final deliverables met quality standards and were completed on strict deadlines.
By leveraging the appeal of the site’s concept, I helped strategically position the company as a platform that not only embraces innovative and historical content but also a company that values collaborative partnerships and recognizes the immense value that diverse creators bring.
As a result, I was able to forge a valuable network of partnerships, expanding the video library to 75+ video exclusives and enhanced the overall draw and value proposition of the platform to our audiences.
In later phases, I was assigned an additional role with the monumental task of completely overhauling the company’s email marketing structure and newsletter design/content.
Initial testing and KPI assessment provided base insights that were utilized to continuously optimize automation and personalization strategies.
The constant renewal of data allowed me to adapt and streamline relevant content, adjust behavioral triggers, create event triggers, and re-engagement campaigns.
An exclusive Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) platform that delivered a captivating and immersive experience where audiences could delve into a world of engaging historical content that exceeded the limitations imposed by mainstream platforms.
A key feature implemented on the site that I helped conceptualize is the interactive map. This “interactive branding” was a custom architectural design that utilized a static images to be highly flexible as both a striking visual and background for the map UI element.
The incorporated time period selection icons placed beneath the map empowered users to effortlessly switch between various historical eras, triggering the dynamic loading of corresponding map layers, videos, and contextual information in real time.
Leveraging robust APIs, the maps are able to smoothly handle user interactions, retrieve relevant catalog data, and act as a fluid pathing mechanism that guides users as they navigate through the video library.
The starting library consisted of only three video exclusives, all created and produced by the founder.
